Our History

LP3 was established by John McGarry MIPI, BSc, MSc, and George Hanley MRICS, MSCSI, BSc, ACA. The company’s services blend the experience and interests of the directors utilised by a wide range of renewable energy and property sector clients.

Land holdings in Ireland are unique. Each parcel of land in the country has a history and a purpose.

Renewable projects are increasing in scale. Driven by grid costs, competitiveness and technology improvements, bigger is better. Ireland’s auction system means that the biggest, quickest project wins the day. There is a need for Ireland’s renewable energy projects to utilise more than ever before.

GIS and Environmental Screening

Using sophisticated GIS techniques, LP3 consider a significant volume of unique, bespoke and relevant environmental data, property information and in house research to identify lands suitable for development.

Land Acquisition

LP3 assign the target lands or project to an in-house, experienced land manager for specific attention. The land manager will go beyond first contact, overseeing the delivery of signed option agreements and acting as a point of contact for the landowners as required.

Project Management

LP3’s project management team can coordinate a larger programme of acquisition, or deliver an acquired project through the remainder of the development process. LP3’s project managers devise budgets, risk registers, and work to client specific parameters to ensure project milestones are delivered on time, and on budget.
