We will work with owners to see how their needs and existing farm practices can be managed or improved. We identify, make contact with, generate interest and oversee all aspects of land acquisition.

Identification of landowners

We will conduct appropriate research to establish contact with the decision maker for lands targeted by projects. We adopt a variety of techniques to ensure introductions are professional, appropriate and ensure the best possible chance for the relationship between the developer and the landowner.

Negotiating option agreements

We communicate offers to landowners, and ensure full understanding between the owner and developer is in place. We work to required timescales, and ensure confidentiality throughout. We can stay involved for communications after the option signed as a point of contact giving our clients space to focus on project delivery.

Due diligence review

LP3 undertake reviews of land agreements, identifying risks and observations on behalf of companies undertaking due diligence when considering the purchase of assets. This can also include conversations with landowners to ensure relationships are healthy and understand any issues or expectations that need to be resolved.

Landowner portfolio management

On behalf of our clients, we act as a continuous point of contact for multiple landowner projects throughout the development and operation of projects.

Strategy and advice

The company directors have overseen or been directly involved in over 400 option agreements, and the team can be brought in to advise on complex negotiations, competitive circumstances, and on landowner or project specific issues.

Group landowner meetings

We can facilitate and host group landowner meetings, where projects can require a more open forum to discuss project topics and issues as a way of unlocking progress.
